1. When is the start date of the new contract?

The contract was awarded on June 5, 2007. SPS anticipates contract work to start on July 1, 2007.

2. How can we get information related to benefits and transition process?

SPS offers a full range of benefits that you will be able to select from to meet your personal and family needs. Employee selected/paid benefits you are eligible to participate in, if you choose, are:

  • Health Insurance (HMO, POS, PPO options), with prescription drug coverage and discounted vision care
  • Dental (PPO)
  • Vision (optional)

  • Long-Term Disability

All employees receive at no cost:

3. How will joining SPS affect my date of service (for benefits purposes)?

SPS will honor your service in your current position at GSA for purposes of calculating benefits based on tenure.
